The air conditioning, although initially challenging, was promptly resolved by the attentive owner, who even upgraded me to a waterfront room with a stunning view of the Richelieu River.The hotel's old charm was accentuated by quirky elements that added to its character. The garden area with its cozy seating and lighting provided a serene spot to admire the picturesque surroundings. The seasonal outdoor pool was a refreshing delight, especially during the hot summer days.While the location was convenient for accessing local attractions like the Balloon Festival and Canadian Forces Base, a vehicle was necessary to explore the beautiful area of St Jean fully. The proximity to amenities like Tim Hortons and easy highway access added practicality to the stay.Motel Belle Riviere offers a balance of cost and luxury, providing a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel for those seeking a peaceful retreat with a touch of Canadian charm.
